A 32-year-old United States national has been sentenced to nearly five years in prison for attempting to bring 18kg of methamphetamine into Auckland Airport. Customs officers discovered 36 vacuum-sealed packages hidden in two suitcases after the woman arrived on a flight from San Francisco last year.
