Metlink fares to increase from July

Greater Wellington councillors have agreed to a 2.2% increase in Metlink fares starting in July. The off-peak discount for Snapper card users will also decrease from 50% to 30%. Officials stated the changes are intended to align with inflation and ensure costs are shared fairly between transport users and ratepayers.
