Kawakawa man identified following fatal State Highway 1 crash in Kauri

Police have named 20-year-old Ritchie Tasman Vallender as the victim of a fatal crash on State Highway 1 in Kauri on 3 August. Authorities are requesting witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the area between 8 pm and 8.30 pm that evening to come forward.
