An 85-year-old woman at Elmwood Village sustained second-degree burns and an infection after her bed was pushed against an unguarded heater. Oceania Care Company Limited has apologised following the incident, which reportedly left the woman requiring a skin graft. Her injuries went unassessed by medical staff for 20 days.
