Construction firm Calder Stewart has proposed a $3 billion solar-powered inland port north of Milton. The facility is part of the Milburn Quadrant development and is expected to create hundreds of jobs. The project aims to boost export capacity and remove 10,000 heavy truck trips from roads annually by shifting freight to rail.
