Three Chinese nationals jailed for blessing scam in New Zealand

Baodi Wu, Huanyan Chen, and Guoli Liang have been sentenced for a blessing scam targeting residents in Auckland and Christchurch. The trio, who arrived on visitor visas, stole more than $100,000 in cash and jewellery. They were arrested at an airport while attempting to leave the country.
