Auckland woman sentenced for torturing a teenager

Selica Wright has been sentenced at the Auckland District Court for the prolonged abuse of a minor. The court heard she used weapons, including a hammer and screwdriver, and forced the boy to consume dog faeces and soiled toilet paper. A judge described the violence as amounting to torture.
