Man sentenced for manslaughter after supplying loaded shotgun to neighbour

Mathew David Hannon has been sentenced for his role in the death of Sidney Ross Bridson at Waitaanga in October 2023. The two neighbours had a long-standing dispute that ended when Hannon supplied a loaded shotgun. Mr Bridson's body was later discovered in his torched house.
