Two recent house fires in Christchurch have been connected to recalled Serene bathroom heaters. Consequently, the sale, use, and installation of Serene S2068, S207T, and S2069 wall-mount models have been banned. Fire and Emergency New Zealand noted these incidents could have been life-threatening.
