Organisers say Christchurch light show ride is safe after part fell

A small part fell from a ferris wheel at the Illuminate Light & Sound Experience in Christchurch's Botanic Gardens. Organisers and the engineer who signed off the ride state that safety was not compromised and that engineers and council inspectors have raised no concerns.
