Trial of Christchurch police officer accused of theft is abandoned

The trial of former acting sergeant Brearna Kelsi Sloss has been abandoned at the Christchurch District Court. Sloss faced 26 charges, including theft and dishonestly using a computer, after she allegedly stole money handed in by the public. She had previously pleaded not guilty to all charges.
