Living wage to increase to $28.95 per hour from September

The living wage will rise by $1.15 to $28.95 per hour starting 1 September. This increase applies to employees and contractors of 342 accredited living wage employers. The adjustment follows a minimum wage increase to $23.50 on 1 April.
