Sinkhole opens on Fendalton Road after water main bursts

A burst water main caused a sinkhole to open on Fendalton Road in Christchurch on Friday morning. The incident damaged a taxi and left approximately 50 properties without water. Workers have closed off the road following the disruption to rush hour traffic.
