Man charged after assault leaves person critically injured in Christchurch

A 24-year-old man has been charged with causing grievous bodily harm following an assault at a disability support property in Halswell. Emergency services responded to the Sparks Road location around 2:30am on Tuesday. The victim is reported to be in stable condition.
