Man sentenced for brutal attack at Hamilton pub

Brendon Lee Varu has been sentenced for a violent assault at the Te Rapa Tavern in Hamilton. The attack occurred while the victim was participating in a pool competition with family and friends. The victim's partner and teenage daughter witnessed the assault.
