Dutch paddler says kaupapa waka involvement changed his life

Koos Wabeke, a 37-year-old Dutch paddler, says participating in kaupapa waka and learning about the Māori world has transformed his life. He has travelled to New Zealand nine times, including seven trips for Waitangi Day commemorations. His involvement began after a waka was carved for a Dutch museum.
