French tourist convicted after biting police officers near Nelson

Ulysse Felician, a 30-year-old French tourist, has been convicted for resisting arrest following a roadside altercation. After performing an illegal U-turn, Felician bit two officers and attempted to grab a Taser. While he failed to avoid convictions for these actions, he was let off for a cannabis possession charge.
