Fines issued for fishing near Cook Strait power cables

Transpower has detailed thousands of dollars in fines issued for fishing activities near power cables in the Cook Strait. Offences included a skipper entering the restricted zone and an individual laying crayfish pots. The cables run for 40 kilometres between Wellington and Marlborough.
