Court orders remediation for damaged Northland wetland

The Environment Court has ordered Paul Martin Harvey of Watermelon Distributors Limited to stop developments and undertake remediation at the Kaimaumau-Motutangi Wetland. The area, Northland's largest wetland, suffered significant damage after livestock were allowed into the site, pesticides were sprayed, and drains were illegally installed.
