Hundreds of blood samples lost during transit to Wellington

A courier company has twice mislaid hundreds of blood samples being transported from Auckland to Wellington. Awanui Labs began sending community tests to the capital for processing after machinery in Auckland broke down in February. The union representing laboratory workers has confirmed further strike action following the incidents.
