Homicide investigation launched after man dies following Hastings assault

Police have launched a homicide investigation after a man died from injuries sustained during a fight on Kiwi Lane in Hastings. Officers were called to a group disorder around 10.30pm on Sunday. The man was taken to Hastings Hospital in critical condition before later passing away.
