Hamilton mother sentenced to home detention after toddler found wandering

A 33-year-old Hamilton woman has been sentenced to one year of home detention. The sentence follows the discovery of her two-year-old child wandering alone and partially naked in a cold Hamilton street. The toddler was found by a member of the public and was in a soiled and unkempt state.
