Nelson shop profits fall 70 per cent due to roadworks

The Nelson Turkish Kebab House has experienced a 70 per cent drop in profit following the start of infrastructure upgrades on Bridge Street. Owner Hayati Unudulmaz attributed the decline to reduced foot traffic and limited street parking. The water infrastructure project is expected to continue for approximately 18 months.
