Construction begins on Ōtaki to north of Levin expressway

Work has commenced on the 24km Ōtaki to north of Levin expressway to improve safety on a route described by the Transport Minister as a death trap. The project, part of the Wellington Northern Corridor, is expected to be completed in 2029.
