Community to bury newborn found at Auckland recycling centre

A newborn girl, named baby Anahera by the community, will be laid to rest in a woven casket next month. The infant was discovered dead at an Auckland recycling plant in August 2021. Police say extensive enquiries have failed to identify her parents or wider family.
