Lifeguards and community members worked together to rescue a large bottlenose dolphin trapped in the shallows of an estuary in Blueskin Bay, north of Dunedin. The animal was located near Manse Road after midday on the weekend, prompting rescuers to assist in floating the dolphin to safety.
