Qantas Group will shut down its Singapore-based budget airline, Jetstar Asia, by 31 July. The decision, driven by high costs and regional competition, will result in up to 500 job losses. Thirteen Airbus A320 aircraft from the fleet will be redeployed to serve Australian and New Zealand markets.
