Kaiwaka farmer admits to animal neglect at Northland deer farm

Niven Lowrie has admitted to animal neglect after 14 deer were found dead at a farm in Kaiwaka. One emaciated stag had to be euthanised after becoming trapped in mud and a fence. The animals were reportedly left to fend for themselves during the winter.
