Fonterra lowers 2026 farmgate milk price forecast to $9.00 midpoint

Fonterra has reduced its 2026 farmgate milk price forecast to a midpoint of $9.00 per kilogram of milk solids. The co-operative cited a global dairy supply glut and a rising New Zealand dollar for the adjustment. The new forecast range is $8.50 to $9.50 per kilogram.
