More storms and heavy rain forecast for top of South Island

MetService has warned that a new front will bring thunderstorms, wind, and heavy rain to the Tasman, Nelson, Marlborough, and Buller regions later this week. This follows recent severe weather that prompted States of Emergency in parts of Nelson, Tasman, and Marlborough. Communities are currently undertaking clean-up efforts following previous flooding.
