A 23-year-old man was sentenced by the County Court of Victoria for drunkenly assaulting two crew members on a flight from Perth to Auckland. The incident forced the plane to divert to Melbourne. He received a six-month prison sentence but was released immediately on a two-year good behaviour bond.
