Large pod of dolphins spotted off the Kaikōura coast

A pilot spotted a large pod of dolphins swimming off the Kaikōura coast on Sunday. Estimates of the number of dolphins vary, with reports ranging from over 100 to almost 500. The encounter was captured on camera by pilot Chris Lierheimer.
