Police investigate homicide after prisoner dies at Mt Eden prison

A homicide investigation has been launched following the death of a man at Mt Eden Corrections Facility on Friday. Police were notified of the death after an incident occurred at the Auckland prison around 4pm. Corrections and the coroner are also conducting investigations into the circumstances.
