Wellington councillors vote against installing waterfront fencing

Wellington City Council has rejected a proposal to install permanent fencing around parts of the waterfront. During an Environment and Infrastructure Committee meeting on Thursday, councillors voted against staff recommendations to spend $7 million on the project.
