Man arrested after allegedly setting fire to Dunedin police station

A 32-year-old man has been arrested for arson after allegedly dousing the entrance of the Dunedin Central Police Station in petrol and setting it alight. The incident occurred around 4.40am on Tuesday. The man reportedly filmed the scene before calling police to report himself.
