The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade says no New Zealanders in Israel have taken up the opportunity to leave the country. While officials have advised citizens to find safe routes to depart, the ministry has not received any requests for assistance. A Defence Hercules aircraft has been sent to the Middle East to assist.
