Woman sentenced for arson at Parnell lodge

Corena Flavell has been sentenced to two and a half years in prison for starting a fire at an Auckland lodge in April 2024. The woman admitted to setting the blaze while under the influence of methamphetamine. The judge noted a high risk of reoffending due to her drug and alcohol issues.
