Taiawa Harawira found guilty of historical sexual abuse charges

Taiawa Harawira has been found guilty of six charges of historical sexual abuse following a retrial in Auckland District Court. The 68-year-old man was arrested in 2020 after a woman alleged she was repeatedly abused during the late 1970s and 1980s. He was found not guilty of three other charges.
