Dunedin liquor store urged to reduce operating hours

The medical officer of health delegate has opposed an off-licence renewal for Leith Liquorland in Dunedin's student quarter. Opponents suggest the store should close earlier to help decrease alcohol-fuelled violence, hospital admissions, and broken glass in the area.
