Sinkhole in St Marys Bay has been filled in

A sinkhole opened at the corner of Dunedin and New Streets in St Marys Bay on Wednesday midday. Firefighters and council contractors attended the scene to secure the area, and the crater has since been covered with a metal plate and filled in.
