Whanganui prepares to mark 30 years since Pākaitore land reclamation

Hundreds are expected to gather in Whanganui to commemorate the 30th anniversary of the Pākaitore land reclamation. Leader Ken Mair says the city's residents and leaders have gained greater awareness of historical actions that harmed hapū and iwi since the 79-day occupation in 1995.
