Auckland sees worst week for flu hospitalisations in 10 years

Auckland experienced its highest weekly rate of flu-related hospitalisations since 2015 between 9 and 16 August. During this period, 177 people were admitted to four hospitals with severe acute respiratory illness, an increase from 125 patients the previous week.
