South Island regions lead ASB regional economic rankings

South Island regions have taken the lead in ASB’s Q1 Regional Economic Scoreboard. Canterbury is currently the best performing region in New Zealand, driven by strong farm prices and export volumes. Auckland has fallen to tenth place in the rankings.
