Man dies after car enters Ōamaru Harbour

A 69-year-old Ōamaru man has died after his vehicle went into the water at Holmes Wharf on Tuesday evening. Emergency services and local divers recovered the man's body following reports that no one had resurfaced. The Serious Crash Unit is currently examining the scene.
