New Zealand Food Safety is supporting Vimms Enterprise Ltd in recalling Deep brand Green Garlic due to a possible salmonella presence. The affected product has an expiration date of 29 November 2026 and is sold in ethnic supermarkets across the country. Consumers are advised not to eat the product unless it is thoroughly cooked.
