Speaker lifts ban on journalist attending state care apology

Speaker Gerry Brownlee has granted temporary accreditation to investigative journalist Aaron Smale to cover the national apology to victims of state care abuse. The decision follows a previous ban that reportedly stemmed from ministerial complaints regarding Smale's questioning of the Prime Minister.
