Dog walker seriously injured in Levin hit-and-run

A pedestrian was seriously injured after being struck by a vehicle while walking their dog on Sunday evening. The incident occurred on Heatherlea East Rd in Levin around 5.20pm. The driver left the scene and the dog has not yet been located.
