Man charged after fire at New Lynn mosque

A 19-year-old man has appeared in Waitakere District Court charged with arson and burglary following a fire at the Imam Reza Mosque in New Lynn. The blaze was reported around 9am on Tuesday and is believed to have been deliberately lit. The man has been granted interim name suppression.
