A section of State Highway 1 between Tokoroa and upper Ātiamuri is set to partially reopen at midday following roadworks. The reopening was delayed by seven hours due to bad weather. NZTA previously announced a month-long closure for the area between Putāruru and the Tokoroa SH1/32 intersection.
