A man has been charged with endangering transport after a high-powered laser was allegedly aimed at an Otago Rescue Helicopter near Oamaru. The aircraft's pilot tracked the individual and his vehicle following the incident, which reportedly lasted for four minutes. Police described the actions as incredibly dangerous.
